Stauf VDP 160 is a 1-component silane-based dispersion primer and damp-proof membrane designed for use under wood flooring installations. It can be used in two distinct ways:
As a Primer:
VDP 160 is suitable for priming porous and non-porous surfaces, enhancing adhesion for adhesives and levelling compounds. It works on concrete, cement screeds, and other subfloors, ensuring better bonding performance.
As a Damp Proof Membrane:
When used as a DPM, it provides moisture control for cement-based subfloors with residual moisture up to 4% CM, ensuring your wood floor is protected from rising damp.
