SAICOS Color Wax is an open-pored coating based on natural plant raw materials & is moisture regulating and breathable. The oils penetrate deeply into the wood surface, protect it from inside and keep it healthy and elastic.

Coverage: 21sqm per litre (1 coat)
Drying Time: min. 8 hours (depends on temperature and air humidity)
Application: Suitable for most European wood types - for exotics please ask. After 1 coat of color wax, a top coat of Premium Hardwax (3200) is required.
Preparation:
Surface must be clean and dry (max. 12 % moisture). Remove all varnishes (final sanding grain 120 – 150). Remove sanding dust thoroughly. For pine and other softwoods in moist environments (bathrooms) we recommend a pretreatment with one coat of SAICOS Wood Impregnation.
For exotic woods, we usually recommend considering alcohol based colours as they are not affected by the high oil content of exotic species.
Please Note:-
We ALWAYS recommend a trial coating on original wood prior to sealing.
A top coat with SAICOS Premium Hardwax-Oil is not possible if SAICOS Color Wax has been applied twice.
