Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them as they contain important information about your (customer) rights and obligations. Before ordering any Products from our site you confirm that you understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Restless Turtle Unipessoal Lda is registered in Portugal under company number PT517969486. Our registered office address is Rua do Castelo 7, 8300-144 Silves, Portugal.

These terms and conditions govern the supply by us of any product ordered by you, whether on the website, by telephone or by any other means. Any particular individual product that you order at any one time from us is referred to in these terms and conditions as the “product”.

These terms and conditions apply to all orders and to all purchases made from us. Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.

These terms and conditions shall prevail over any separate terms put forward by you. Any conditions that you submit, propose or stipulate in whatever form and at whatever time, whether in writing, by email or orally, are expressly waived and excluded.

WEBSITE USE

This website is operated by Restless Turtle Unipessoal Lda. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Restless Turtle Unipessoal Lda.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

MAKING AN ORDER

When making an order, you are agreeing to our terms & conditions.

All prices shown are exclusive of IVA (VAT) unless stated otherwise. Any sales made are subject to stock availability and should be checked before any transactions are made, by contacting us directly.

Payment can be made via secure credit card facility online, over the phone or in person. Direct bank transfers and cheques can be made with prior arrangement with our sales team.

Upon ordering, we may provide you an order reference number and details of the product you have ordered via email or receipt confirmation. We may, in our discretion, refuse to accept an order from you for any reason.

Samples are provided for guidance only. As our products are natural, no two samples of the same product will be identical in appearance.

DELIVERY

Restless Turtle Unipessoal Lda offers a 3–5 working day delivery service for samples within mainland Portugal when possible. For EU deliveries of samples, timings vary depending on destination.

All deliveries are subject to a charge. Free Delivery is not offered on discounted items unless confirmed in writing by our sales team. Failure to be present on the date of delivery arranged or lack of help on offloading can result in additional charges.

Delivery is “kerb side” only unless otherwise agreed. Customers must ensure that adequate assistance is available at the point of delivery.

We strongly recommend you do not book an installer until after goods are received and checked, as we cannot be held liable for losses due to delays or damaged items.

WARRANTY

Restless Turtle will always strive to deliver satisfactory products. As wood is a natural product, variations, movement and imperfections may occur.

  • Solid Wood Flooring: must be acclimatised 7–14 days before installation. Seasonal expansion/contraction is normal and not considered a defect. Excessive moisture damage is not covered.

  • Engineered Wood Flooring: carries a 10-year structural warranty against delamination or buckling, provided installation and maintenance guidelines are followed. Damage due to moisture, flooding, or misuse is not covered.

DEPOSITS

Deposits left to secure or pre-order stock are non-refundable.

DISCOUNTS

Discounts apply only within the specified time frame. Discount codes may require a minimum spend (e.g. €250) and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
