Collection: Professional Wood Flooring Seals
Seals & Finishes – Protecting & Enhancing the Character of Your Floor.
Sealing your wood floor defines not just its durability, but also its look and feel. There are two main options — oil and lacquer — and each bring distinct qualities.
Oil finishes are plant-based and enrich the wood’s natural texture and warm tones. They offer a durable finish suitable for any room type but require slightly more upkeep than a lacquer. Whilst being slightly less resistant to abrasion, oil finishes are easier to spot repair.
Lacquers, by contrast, form a hard-wearing surface layer of acrylic or polyurethane. They’re more resistant to abrasion and less prone to yellowing - though if damage occurs they can be harder to repair.
Whether you prefer the natural warmth of oil or the resilience of lacquer, we've got the right finishes to bring out the best in your floor.
